How to configure a FTP account on cPanel

If you need to connect to your FTP account you can change the actual password to connect or create a new FTP account.

Option A:

Change the current password

01) Inside your cPanel, click on Password & Security;

02) Type the old password and the new one. Click on “Change your password now!”;

Option B:

Adding a new FTP account

01) Inside your cPanel, click on FTP Accounts;

02) Type the log in that you want to use, password and select the directory that this user should have access. Click on Create FTP Account.

Done, now you can use this information on your BackupMyServer account.
