How to Set up a Remote MySQL Database Connection on cPanel

If you need to connect to your MySQL/MariaDB using a remote server, such as a MySQL client on your desktop or BackupMyserver app. First, you will have to allow the connection from within cPanel for the IP address you are connecting from.

01) Open your cPanel and find the option Remote MySQL.

02) As the IP address add our IP Address (click here to see our IP)
